I am proud to be a resident here at Gadsden Regional Medical Center! I am a Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, Florida. I headed to Alabama in 2018 for medical school and am now proud to call Alabama home for residency and the years to come. My wife and I have a beautiful 10-month old daughter and a handsome 2-year old Portuguese water dog. In our spare time, you will most likely find us hiking Noccalula Falls, kayaking the Coosa River or dining at Bama Bucks.

I fell in love with Gadsden, Alabama while doing a Family Medicine rotation at Gadsden Regional Medical Center from June to July 2022. When I interviewed for residency at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, I brought my wife to check out the beautiful town and she too fell in love. Most of all, I love the sense of hospitality instilled by the hospital staff and physicians, the family atmosphere created by the faculty and current residents, and the vision of the program for the years to come. My wife and I are so excited to be a part of this grand new adventure!
