Born and raised in Nepal, a book titled ‘Where There Is No Doctor’ instilled an interest in medicine in me. After graduating from medical school, I worked as a general physician in Nepal for more than 7 years before moving to Medford, MA. The most meaningful parts of my work have been caring for patients in rural and underserved areas. Seeing how simple steps like educating, listening, and offering simple guidance could make a real difference in someone’s health and overall well-being has been incredibly rewarding. This shaped my path to pursue family medicine.

The diverse experience of faculty, welcoming environment, and genuine warmth that I felt during my interview day made GRMC an easy choice. I am incredibly grateful to be part of the Gadsden Family Medicine Residency family. Outside of medicine, I enjoy fabric painting, baking, and exploring new places. Lately, I have been trying to perfect my sourdough bread.
