I was born and raised in Nigeria, where I earned my medical degree from the University of Ibadan, along with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Child and Adolescent Health. I went on to gain four years of experience in the emergency department and completed five years of postgraduate training in Family Medicine, experiences that solidified my passion for full-spectrum, patient-centered care. I later earned a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen and a Master’s in Health Care Informatics at Middle Tennessee State University, which have strengthened my understanding of prevention and thoughtful, well informed care as I begin my journey as a Family Medicine resident in the United States with a strong desire to keep learning and growing.
From my first interactions, the warmth, cohesion, professionalism, and shared sense of purpose among both faculty and residents made Gadsden Regional Medical Center feel like home. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to train at Foothills Family Medicine, where I am surrounded by dedicated teachers and physicians who are committed to both excellence and compassionate care. It is a privilege to be part of a program that fosters growth, teamwork, and a genuine investment in resident development.
Outside of medicine, I find joy in music and sing in my local church choir. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and creating educational videos. These moments help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life.
