While working as a medical assistant at a family medicine and obstetrics clinic in Memphis, I discovered my passion for the diverse care and enduring patient relationships found in family medicine. My background in OBGYN in Pakistan further inspired me, as I value how family physicians care for patients throughout every stage of life, from “cradle to grave.”
I was born in Mississippi and later moved to Pakistan with my family. I attended King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan, and completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. I relocated to the US in 2022. During my interview in Gadsden, I was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the people and by the scenic river running through the city. After years in large, busy cities, I have always wanted to live near mountains and waterfalls.
Outside of medicine, I am a mother to an 8-year-old daughter. We enjoy spending time together, whether cooking or working on DIY projects. I also enjoy traveling and making the most of life. I am honored to serve the Gadsden community and look forward to beginning my residency journey. I am grateful to be part of a team that reflects the values that have guided my journey and inspired my commitment to patient care.
